Antrim Eclectic Book Club readers will discuss Neil Gaiman’s “The Ocean at the End of the Lane” Thursday, May 16, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. at James A. Tuttle Library, 45 Main St. in Antrim.
Helen Jalbert will be leading the dialogue. Among the questions book club members may discuss are how strange and gloomy the book is, how Gaiman addresses the subjects of memory, the supernatural and loyalty, how Gaiman characterizes women and what there is to like about the book.
The Antrim Eclectic Book Club meets on the third Thursday each month between 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. at the James A Tuttle library. Free copies of the books will be available for loan at the library. For information, send email to Steve Ullman at stephenhullman@gmail. Newcomers are welcome.
