Novelists to speak at Hancock Town Library

Novelists Dawn Reno Langley and S.M. Stevens will appear at the Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St., on Wednesday, May 28, at 7 p.m. to discuss their latest works. The event is free and open to all.
Langley will speak about “The Mystic,” the first book in her new series “The Art of Rivers,” which examines civil, gender, societal and familial rights. She is a writer, theater critic, editor and educator, and holds an MFA from Vermont College and a doctorate from the Union Institute and University. She is also president of Rewired Creatives, Inc.
Stevens, a Washington resident, will discuss “Beautiful and Terrible Things,” which won Best Literary Book of the Year from Indies Today and a Gold Award in the LGBTQIA+ category from the 2024 Reader Views Reviewer’s Choice Awards. She earned a bachelo’s degree in English literature from Cornell University, serves on the board of the Monadnock Writers’ Group and is a member of the New Hampshire Writers’ Project.
