The Children and the Arts Festival, in collaboration with MAXT Makerspace, will host a puppet-making workshop on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Noone Falls, 49 Vose Farm Roa, Peterborough.

Participants will work on large puppets for local schools or create their own using cardboard sculpting and papier-mâché. Puppets not completed during the workshop can be taken home or finished by students. No experience is needed.

The workshop is open to ages 14 and up and limited to 20 participants. Attendees should bring lunch and be ready to get messy. The event is part of preparations for this year’s Children and the Arts Festival on Saturday, May 17, with the theme “Greatest Hits: Celebrating 30 Years of Children and the Arts.”
