Seniors Charlotte St. Amand of Mascenic High School,  Lucy Dupuis of Conant High School and Kendrick Edwards of ConVal High School were recently named DAR Good Citizens by the Mary Varnum Platts-Peterborough Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

A small presentation ceremony was held for each student at Mascenic, Conant and ConVal. The students were nominated and voted on by either the faculty, guidance, the student body or combination thereof at their school.

For more than 80 years, the DAR Good Citizen Program has recognized high school seniors who exhibit dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in their homes, schools and communities. They receive a certificate, Good Citizen pin, small scholarship and an invitation to Concord for a tour of the state Capital and an awards luncheon ceremony afterwards.
