Front Lawn Fun’s last free event of the year will be Friday, Sept. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St. in Jaffrey.

Front Lawn Fun is a weekly series of arts and cultural programming which takes place on the front lawn of the Jaffrey Civic Center, or indoors if the weather is not ideal. This series was developed to connect the community and engage people of all ages in the cultural arts.

The center will welcome Sophia & Kate for its first Front Lawn Fun Ladies Night. Sophia & Kate are an acoustic singer/songwriter duo originally from Long Beach, Calif,, who are now based in Keene. Lifelong friends, they began their musical career after high school and have been writing and performing their original songs around New England. They draw influence from the lyricism of country music, the melodies of pop music and the storytelling of folk music.

Light refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited, so spectators are recommended to bring their own seats. The event is free for all ages and will take place rain or shine.
