Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs accepting applications

Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs are accepting registrations for their spring ensembles, offering choral opportunities for children in kindergarten through grade 12. Rehearsals are held weekly in Keene and Peterborough, with performances in the fall and spring. Tuition assistance is available.

The ensembles include Rise Up for grades kindergarten to three, which combines singing, movement and rhythmic games. Rehearsals are Tuesday afternoons in Keene or Saturday mornings in Peterborough.

Choristers, for grades three to six, rehearse Mondays in Peterborough. This group focuses on developing musical skills through solfege and Kodály methods.

The Stone Soup Ensemble, a non-auditioned group for grades six to 12, rehearses Tuesdays in Keene and explores diverse repertoire.

The Cecilia Ensemble, for grades nine to 12, performs sacred and secular, medieval to modern, classical, folk, gospel and non-traditional modern music in English and foreign languages.
