ATRIMGreat Brook students honored

Great Brook School eighth-graders marked the end of middle school with a celebration ceremony June 19, joined by friends and family. Students received certificates of completion, along with Presidential Academic Awards, Community Service Awards and other recognitions for their efforts.

Top students from each town served by the school were honored for academic achievement and community leadership. Abbie Sulzer received the Francestown Award, Gray Edwards the Hancock Award, Lana Madigan the Antrim Award and Colton Yeargau the Bennington Award.

Karley Nyhan received the American Legion Award, presented by the Myers-Prescott-Olson Post 50 in Antrim, for patriotism, responsibility, community involvement and academic achievement.
