The Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St., will host “A Presence Beyond Ourselves,” a solo exhibition by Gretchen Hill Woodman, from May 23 to June 20.

The exhibit features kinetic drawings, woodblock prints, installation art and photography inspired by animal imagery. An opening reception will be held Saturday, May 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Cunningham Gallery on the top floor.
