Jaffrey Civic Center presents Spring Art Show

The Jaffrey Civic Center’s annual Spring Art Show is on display through June 21 in the Auditorium Gallery at 40 Main St.

An opening reception will be held Friday, May 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitors can meet the artists, learn about their creative process and have light refreshments.

The exhibit features original works by 17 local artists, including paintings, sculpture, fiber art, silk scarves and paintings and woodcut prints. Participating artists include Amy McGregor-Radin, Cathy Cox, Christine Cusmano, James Cusmano, Jay Mercado, Jill Fischman, Joanna Draugsvold, Lee Stanton Sawyer, Liz Knight, Nancy Christopher, Olha Necheporenko, Phil Bean, Rebecca Fredrickson, Summer Langille, William Turner, Judith Prager and Alexander Pope.

Gallery hours are Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors should enter from Bradley Court or park on the street and use the front door or handicap ramp, as the rear entrance is under renovation.
