Michelle Stahl to present Women’s History Month program in Peterborough

Michelle Stahl, director of the Monadnock Center for History and Culture, will present “The Power of Women Working Together: Women's Groups in Peterborough's Past” on Thursday, March 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Monadnock Center, 19 Grove St., Peterborough.

In recognition of Women's History Month, the illustrated discussion will explore early 20th-century women’s organizations in Peterborough, including the Progressive Club, D.A.R. and the Handicraft Workers Society, and their impact on the community.
