Tibetan monks from the DrepungGomang Monastery in India will create a sand mandala Nov. 11 to 16 at the Mariposa Museum, 26 Main St., Peterborough, as part of their world tour to support Tibetan Buddhism and culture.

The event will conclude with a dissolution ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 16, at noon, followed by a procession to the river where the sand will be poured to spread blessings into the world.

Admission is $10 per day or $30 for the week for adults, and $6 per day or $20 for the week for children. The Mariposa Museum, a nonprofit organization promoting cultural understanding, is accessible to people who use wheelchairs.
