Mt. Monadnock Little League finishes regional tourney with loss

The Mt. Monadnock Little League U10 team that won the New Hampshire state championship and played in the regionals in Cranston, R.I. Players were Pierce Adams, Cooper Aho, Mason Blouin, Colson Damon, Dylan Hatton, Spencer Hill, Porter Krook, Mason Rose, Dex Seppala, Hudson Seppala, Ty Somero and Colton Swan. Coaches were Ross Blouin, Josh Damon, Nate Hatton and Nick Hill.

Despite a strong pitching performance from Porter Crook, the Mt. Monadnock Little League 10U lost 3-1 to the team from Trumbull, Conn., Thursday to finish 0-4 at the regional tournament in Cranston, R.I.

Porter gave up three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks in five innings, striking out five. He also had two of the four hits for the New Hampshire state champions.

Ty Somero and Hudson Seppala had the other two hits for Mt. Monadnock, and Hudson drove in Colton Swan for their only run.
