Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St., has started a new “Books & Banter” casual evening book club.

Books & Banter provides a space to discuss and enjoy books in a laid-back setting. Each month, members will vote on the book selection from a curated list based on different themes. The inaugural meeting will be hosted by Program and Outreach Librarian Rebecca Enman Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the library.

This will be a casual meet-and-greet where members can choose the October book, connect with fellow readers and engage in snacks and conversation.  The first regular meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 5:30 p.m.

For information, visit peterboroughtownlibrary.org or call 603-924-8040.
