JaffreyPark Theatre presenting ‘Oliver Twist’

The Park Theatre, 19 Main St., Jaffrey, will screen the 1922 silent film adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “Oliver Twist” on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. The event features a live musical score by silent film accompanist Jeff Rapsis.

The film, produced by First National Pictures, stars Jackie Coogan as Oliver and Lon Chaney as Fagin. It follows the story of an orphan raised in a workhouse who becomes entangled with a gang of young thieves led by Fagin.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance at theparktheatre.org/oliver-twist-1922 or by calling 603-532-8888. Tickets will also be available at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music by Tom Hsu in the Lounge Bar.
