Peterborough Players name four new trustees

Peterborough Players have elected four new trustees to serve three-year terms.

Jeremy Blydenburgh-Cote of Peterborough is the marketing director at RiverMead Retirement Community, overseeing strategic marketing and sales. He has experience in commercial and residential real estate sales and serves on the Peterborough Events and Development Committee.

The Rev. Cathy H. George, a Jaffrey resident, is a former associate dean and director of formation at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. A graduate of Macalester College and Harvard Divinity School, she earned a doctorate in transformational leadership from Boston University School of Theology in 2017. She has worked as a parish priest, chaplain, writer and consultant.

Michael Lichter, a retired dermatologist from Jaffrey, was involved in theater in high school and at the University of Chicago. He previously served on the co-op board at 1010 Memorial Drive in Cambridge, Mass. His interests include philosophy, yoga, oil painting and bridge.

Katelyn Manfre, originally from Peterborough, made her professional debut on the Players stage at age 11 and has since returned as an actor, volunteer and audience member. Now based in Portland, Maine, she is the director of community programs and partnerships, as well as the accessibility coordinator, for Portland Ovations.

Marie Cassady of Peterborough will serve as board president, Sherin Pierce of Dublin as vice president, Tori Haring-Smith of Peterborough as treasurer, Mary Vallier-Kaplan of Peterborough as secretary and Carolyn Hough of Peterborough as member-at-large. Continuing trustees include Sevanne Kassarjian of Hancock, L. Phillips Runyon III of Peterborough and incorporator LuLu Brown Weathers of Peterborough.

The Players enter their 92nd year under new leadership with Artistic Director Brendon Fox and Managing Director Victoria Zischke. The 2025 summer season runs from Wednesday, June 18, through Sunday, Aug. 24. Subscription renewals begin Monday, March 17, at peterboroughplayers.org or by calling 603-924-7585.
