PeterboroughLibrary hosting ‘Winterlude’

Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St., Peterborough, will showcase "Winterlude: A Group Show by The Prism Painters" in its Community Art Gallery from Friday, Dec. 6, through Thursday, Jan. 2.

A reception is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m., during Peterborough’s Hometown Holiday Weekend.

The Prism Painters, a group formed through years of classes taught by Frankie Brackley Tolman, includes artists Carol Doleac, Kit Fairchild, Janet Hymowitz, Mary Wood Cornog, Nancy Roberts O'Neill, Roberta Woolfson, Sally Shonk and Tolman. Their work emphasizes emotional expression over literal representation.
