HeatSmart+ and the Peterborough Renewable Energy Project will host a free clean-energy open house Saturday, April 19, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 79 Robbe Farm Road in Peterborough.

Visitors can explore energy-efficient devices such as heat pumps, solar panels, an induction range, electric lawn tools and electric vehicles in a home setting. Homeowners and members of the PREP team will share their experiences with renewable energy and efficiency upgrades.

Qualified Peterborough homeowners can also learn about HeatSmart+ rebates of up to $3,300 for energy improvements.
